Knotting string is one of the easiest techniques to learn if you’re a beginner. It can also make beautiful statement pieces that look far more complicated than they actually are. Silk knotting can be used to create bracelets, necklaces, or earrings with any bead that can fit on silk, cotton, or even leather cord. It can be used to create space between whole sections of beads, or placed between each one as a kind of spacer to show off every detail of your glamorous gemstones.

In this class, you’ll learn how to tightly tie knots right up against the bead, and all the tips and tricks to make it even easier. We’ll also teach you how to choose the right cord for your project, so you won’t feel the frustration of choosing one that’s too thick for your bead.
